Radith Rukshan AKA NOIYSE PROJECT a name to know in the EDM industry

As we all know, over the last decade, the Sri Lankan EDM industry was growing fast with producing a number of youngsters with immense talent who are also represented in global platforms like “Tomorrowland. Ultra Music Festival & many more. Sri Lankan Electronic Dance music Producer and Artist Radith Rukshan AKA NOIYSE PROJECT has made himself an impressive name in both the local and international music industry. His passion for music was heavily influenced by few international artists. In early 2018 he began music producing and eventually got into it professionally while creating a number of sound-great tracks. Now, he is a well-recognized EDM producer and artist around the world who is also going to be launching his very own record-label company names TILL THE SUNRISE.

He firmly believes that the development of the music industry will lead to attracting thousands and millions of tourists around the world and will also help the young & upcoming artists in Sri Lanka to be able to perform on global platforms. Also, he has understood that the SL electronic music industry is not performing due to the last 2-3 years with the continuous country situations and with the hit of the global pandemic. Many artists and producers have become famous and well known for their contribution to many international events & stages. In other countries, they have given acknowledgment to the electronic dance music industry and are developing their tourism through some huge festivals and events such as Tomorrowland, UMF, and many more.

Over the past three years, NOIYSE PROJECT has built a very strong network of connections globally, and also, he believes that he could build a good brand name in the electronic underground music industry globally with a unique and iconic style. With so many successful productions up to now, he has released more than 75 tracks in all the music stores and he has signed about 40 record labels including some top labels in the world. With a career so successful, he had been getting reservations for many international events to perform as the headliner but unfortunately, this pandemic situation brought a huge barrier as travel restrictions were limited. He was also the first Sri Lankan who got invited to perform in Burning man festival 2021 as a virtual performance. Radith continues and wants to keep his country name at the top of the international music industry and has plans to host a global dance music festival.

“He continued, looking at the Sri Lankan EDM industry its got a lot of potentials to help improve the economy and the tourist attraction given that if we create more platforms to perform and involve international artists to make a better name in the world of music.

Back in 2018 as a big fan of electronic dance music, he wanted to experiment by making deep groovy progressive house music and i ensure to treat the music lifestyle as his medicine to a stressful body. Eventually, people started to recognizing and loving his music. luckily for this despairing era, we are living through a renaissance in EDM music, and their creators are more diverse & creative. While music can still be our hammer.

Finally, the biggest challenge right now is the travel restrictions and visa rejections for the SL passports. He mentioned that it would be great if the country officials can support artists like Radith to get the due approvals to travel and perform in international gigs. He strongly believes that as a nation we can move forward with creating more space for the global artists to perform locally and local artists to perform globally.
