Organized by the LK Domain Registry and now in its 16th edition, BestWeb.LK recognizes outstanding .lk websites across 24 industry categories. The competition features 126 awards, including Gold, Silver, and Bronze accolades, along with special recognitions such as Best Mobile-Optimized Website, Most Popular Website, Best Web Developer, and Overall Awards.
The BestWeb.LK award categories cover almost every industry across the island. Categories include Advertising & Marketing, Automotive, Banking, Corporate, e-Commerce, Education, Fashion & Lifestyle, Finance & Insurance, Food & Beverage, Government, Health & Wellness, Manufacturing & Industrial, Media & Entertainment, Nonprofit, School, Sports, Technology, Travel & Tourism, and more.

The BestWeb.LK selection process is designed to be fair, transparent, and focused on continuous improvement, guiding participants through several structured stages. It begins with registration, which ends on 8th June, followed by screening and feedback to highlight areas for enhancement. Next comes the Rating & Review phase, where websites receive public input, which will be shared with the owners, leading into expert evaluation and nominee selection by industry professionals. The journey concludes with the final awards presentation in a grand ceremony, bringing together industry leaders, business professionals, and web developers to celebrate digital excellence and recognize outstanding achievements in web development. Together, these stages help participants clearly understand their current standing and identify ways to further improve their websites.
