Leadership Excellence for the Sixth Year
Fairfirst Insurance continued its focus on leadership development at the Great Manager Awards 2025, organised by the Colombo Leadership Academy. The company was also recognised as an organisation with Great Managers for the sixth consecutive year, reflecting its sustained commitment to shaping a workplace where individuals are empowered to grow, take ownership, and lead with purpose.
The Great Manager Awards recognise organisations that prioritise effective people management and cultivate environments where teams can perform, collaborate, and evolve. Fairfirst’s continued recognition highlights its belief that strong leadership is built through trust, accountability, and a shared sense of responsibility across teams.
Among this year’s award recipients, Mr Madhava Hettiarachchi, Head of Finance, was recognised as a Millennial Manager. Mr Harshana Kumbukage, Head of Corporate Broker, and Mrs Shalini Jeganathan, Senior Manager Finance, were recognised for Aligning Organisational Vision. Mr Dhananjaya Yapa, Manager Finance, and Mr Saman Gunathilake, Zonal Head Northern Zone, were recognised for Building Team Effectiveness and Collaboration. Mr Madhawa Perera, Head of Motor Claims, was recognised for Leadership Integrality and Holistic Approach, while Mr Ravindu Fernando, Sales Manager Travel, was recognised for Driving Results and Execution Excellence.
