Celebrated globally on the 12th of December, RED first began as an initiative in India and has since grown into a movement embraced by over 30 countries. This year marks a significant milestone as One Galle Face officially opens the Sri Lankan chapter of this global celebration—making it the first organisation in the country to formally recognise RED and place retail employees at centre stage.
The RED celebrations included a series of engaging activities designed to appreciate and reward employees. The activities included thoughtful gifts presented to retail employees as tokens of appreciation, fun-filled games and interactive experiences, and moments of recognition celebrating commitment and teamwork. The day was all about acknowledging outstanding contributions and fostering a culture of appreciation.
