Storex Renewables Partners with World's No. 1 Sigenergy to Answer Sri Lanka's Solar Policy Shift

As Net Metering and Net Accounting close to new applicants, Storex Renewables introduces a future-proof integrated storage solution built for the Energy Independent era

Storex Renewables (Pvt) Ltd has launched SigenStor Neo, an all-in-one solar and battery storage system from Sigenergy, in Sri Lanka. The only scalable and future-proof solution comes as the Ministry of Energy moves all new rooftop solar connections to the Net Plus scheme, closing Net Metering and Net Accounting to new applicants.

With the closure of practically available solar schemes, consumers are now required to have their own storage and be independent in their solar power generation, making on-site storage more valuable for maximising self-consumption and controlling costs. Storex Renewables, which brings prior experience implementing large-scale battery systems, positions SigenStor Neo as its answer to that shift.

Sigenergy Neo Systems integrate the energy management system, inverter, battery and backup module into a single unit. It connects to existing solar installations, so homeowners and businesses already on Net Metering or Net Accounting can add storage without replacing their current setup. The battery is rated for 10,000 charge cycles, the highest count in the market. It carries an IP66 rating for protection against dust and weather exposure in Sri Lankan conditions. The Sigenergy inverter is perhaps the first available in stock in Sri Lanka that can grow with your demand. Whilst traditional battery-based solar systems do not offer future upgradability of batteries of different sizes during different stages, Storex offers a premium future-proof solution. The Storex Sigenergy system switches to backup power with zero disruption to connected loads, and allows power to be drawn efficiently from panels installed at different angles or orientations.

The product is available for both residential and commercial installations with all leading installers such as SOLAR THERM, AIRO Engineering and selected partners / resellers.
