PureHydro served as the Powered by Partner of the Maxxis Ceylon Open 2026 Padel Finals, bringing its brand promise, “Pure Is a Standard,” courtside while providing players and visitors with convenient access to purified drinking water throughout the Grand Finale.
Organised by Padel Chief, the competitive doubles tournament was held over two months and featured three divisions and nine categories. It culminated in a Grand Finale comprising the semi-finals and finals, bringing together players, families, spectators and event partners as Sri Lanka’s padel community continues to grow.
As part of the partnership, PureHydro installed a Hot and Cold Water Dispenser with a Reverse Osmosis water purification system courtside. The activation allowed players and visitors to experience the product between matches, transforming the sponsorship from conventional brand visibility into a meaningful experience connected to hydration, wellness and sporting performance.
“We did not want PureHydro to simply be a logo at the venue. By placing the PureHydro Hot and Cold Water Dispenser courtside, we gave players, families and spectators the opportunity to experience our standard for themselves between matches,” said Rumesh Jayasekara, Senior Marketing Manager at PureHydro.
“Padel brings together sport, wellness, networking, competition and premium leisure. These qualities align naturally with PureHydro and with the standards people increasingly expect from the water they choose for their homes and lifestyles,” he added.
“The Maxxis Ceylon Open 2026 demonstrates what can be achieved when players, clubs and partners come together around a structured competitive platform,” said Nisal Sudila, Chief Operating Officer of Padel Chief.
“Every match contributed to an official rating, results were tracked throughout the competition, and the players who reached the Grand Finale earned their places through two months of competition. This is the competitive ecosystem we want to continue developing for padel in Sri Lanka.”
The partnership forms part of PureHydro’s wider commitment to connecting water quality and hydration with active, health-conscious lifestyles. Through its 2026 campaign, “Pure Is a Standard,” the brand seeks to reinforce the importance of quality, reliability and better water standards across homes, workplaces and everyday life.
PureHydro is a water purification brand of St. Anthony’s Hydro, backed by the trusted legacy of the St. Anthony’s Group, which has served Sri Lankan consumers and businesses for more than 80 years. Building on the Group’s reputation for quality, reliability and customer trust, St. Anthony’s Hydro offers domestic and industrial water purification solutions, including Reverse Osmosis water purifiers, filtration systems, and hot and cold water dispensers.
