Pay&Go Partners with Sejaya Micro Credit to Simplify Loan Repayments

The partnership lets Sejaya's micro-entrepreneur clients repay loans through Pay&Go's kiosks, app, and POS network.

MegaPay (Pvt) Ltd, operator of Pay&Go, has partnered with Sejaya Micro Credit Ltd., a licensed microfinance company serving clients via 55+ branches across the country and a fully owned subsidiary of Gojo & Company Inc., Japan. The partnership gives Sejaya's clients a faster way to repay loan installments and supports both companies' commitment to financial inclusion.

Sejaya clients can now repay loan instalments through Pay&Go's mobile app, its network of over 1,000 self-service kiosks island-wide, or Pay&Go POS machines available at stores across the country. Repayments can be made 24/7, without a branch visit. Clients receive instant digital receipts and payment confirmation.

"This partnership is a step closer to our mission of making payments accessible to every Sri Lankan. Together with SEJAYA, we are putting that convenience directly in the hands of those who need it most."

- Mr. Vardan Aslibekyan, General Director, MegaPay (Pvt) Ltd.

Many of Sejaya's borrowers are self-employed entrepreneurs running shops, tailoring businesses, and other small enterprises. Both companies are exploring ways to extend Pay&Go POS solutions to these clients through a "Repay & Grow" initiative, which aims to let Sejaya borrowers accept card and bill payments in their own shops. Further details will be shared as the initiative progresses.

"Our clients deserve financial services that work around their lives, not the other way around. Pay&Go makes that possible."

- Mr. Rizanth Francis, Chief Executive Officer, Sejaya Micro Credit Ltd.

The two organisations also discussed plans to expand digital payment acceptance across the country, with a shared focus on increasing cashless transactions, promoting financial literacy, and supporting economic empowerment through payment technology.

Sejaya Micro Credit has operated since 2015 under the mission to "leave no one behind," working to support low-income households and micro-entrepreneurs through inclusive financial services. Pay&Go's kiosk network, mobile app, and POS infrastructure extend that mission by bringing digital payments closer to the communities that need them.

Pay&Go is a leading Sri Lankan payment technology platform providing integrated digital and physical payment solutions through its mobile application, POS network, kiosks, and online services.

Sejaya Micro Credit Ltd. is a licensed microfinance company founded in 2014, and a fully owned subsidiary of Gojo & Company Inc., Japan. Sejaya provides inclusive financial services to low-income women and households across Sri Lanka, with a focus on social responsibility alongside financial access. The company operates under the mission to "leave no one behind," working to build social capital, improve living standards, and reduce poverty among its clients.
