The event will bring together undergraduates, fresh graduates, school leavers, and industry professionals for a comprehensive career development experience.
Insight ’25 will be purposefully designed to bridge the gap between the corporate sector and Sri Lanka’s brightest emerging talent. Going beyond a traditional career fair, the event will provide companies with direct access to high-potential youth while offering participants meaningful exposure to the realities of the corporate world. The platform will host distinguished industry leaders, recruiters, and corporate representatives, creating an environment focused on talent development, recruitment, and professional growth.
The event agenda will emphasize practical exposure and professional development. Key highlights will include expert-led panel discussions featuring prominent professionals such as the Co-Founder of Organic, the Franchise Owner of Drink Divide, Marketing Consultant, Comedian and Digital Creator Amantha Perera, Director of JAT Holdings PLC Anika Williamson, and Directress of Remarko Hiruni C Withanage. These sessions will provide delegates with first-hand insights into industry expectations, career pathways, and emerging trends.
In addition, Insight ’25 will feature a dedicated Networking Space designed to facilitate hands-on interaction between delegates and employers. Activities will include walk-in interviews, mock interviews, one-to-one CV reviews, problem-solving challenges, and direct employer engagement opportunities. The event will also host specialized competitions such as the Case Study Final Competition and a CV Writing Competition, aimed at testing analytical thinking, creativity, and professional readiness.
Participants at Insight ’25 will include a diverse audience comprising undergraduates, fresh graduates, school leavers, and individuals seeking targeted career guidance. Attendees will have the opportunity to build relationships with potential employers, access career consultations and corporate stalls, and explore innovative industry practices that will support informed career decision-making.
Sharing her views, an official from AIESEC in Colombo Central stated, “Insight ’25 will continue a nine-year legacy of supporting young people as they explore career opportunities and prepare for the professional world. The event will enable participants to learn from industry leaders, connect with potential employers, and engage with peers from across the country. Through a carefully structured agenda, Insight ’25 will equip attendees with the insights and skills needed to stand out in an increasingly competitive job market. Looking ahead, we aim to expand the event’s reach by engaging more corporate partners and undergraduates from across Sri Lanka, further strengthening its role as a premier platform for shaping the nation’s future workforce.”
