Enquire Today →Sri Lanka will host its first dedicated international exhibition for spirits, wine and beer when the Ceylon International Spirits Show (CISS) 2026 opens at ITC Ratnadipa, Colombo, on 21 and 22 December 2026. The show is an initiative of Brand Focus, in association with the Wine & Spirits Club of India (WSCI).
CISS is positioned as a professional gateway for international alcoholic beverage brands seeking to understand and enter the evolving Sri Lankan market, while creating opportunities for trade, hospitality and consumers alike.
The two-day event is expected to bring together importers and distributors, leading retailers and trade buyers, premium hotels and restaurants, mixologists and beverage professionals, manufacturers, collectors, hospitality students and informed consumers.
Participating brands will be able to offer a “liquid-to-lips” experience, allowing visitors to taste and discover products first-hand while exhibitors gather direct insight into consumer preferences and market dynamics. The show will also facilitate business meetings with potential importers, distributors, retailers and hospitality groups, helping brands identify opportunities and long-term partnerships.
A series of panel discussions featuring leading Sri Lankan professionals will add depth to the programme, examining consumer psychology, consumption patterns, emerging trends, tourism, hospitality, cocktails, wine, beer and the country’s changing drinking culture.
The organisers see strong synergy with Sri Lanka’s tourism sector. The island is a popular destination known for its beaches, cuisine, gemstones, spices, Ceylon Tea and Ceylon Cinnamon, and CISS aims to show how well-crafted beverages can enhance the wider food, drink and hospitality experience.
Christina Rodrigo, Founder of CISS, said the show offers exhibitors a chance to introduce their brands to a relevant audience while gaining insight into the market. “More importantly, CISS provides an opportunity to explore the unexplored Sri Lankan market, identify potential business partners and build meaningful relationships,” she said.
Malay Kumar Rout, Founder of WSCI and Co-Founder of CISS, said the opportunity extends beyond domestic consumption and local production. With travellers from around the world visiting Sri Lanka, he noted, the tourism and hospitality ecosystem presents significant prospects for the alcoholic beverage industry. “CISS aims to build a professional bridge between international brands and the Sri Lankan market,” he added.
CISS 2026 aims to bring together global brands, Sri Lankan trade and consumers on one platform where business, industry knowledge, product discovery and hospitality converge.
